Dear Knitter,

This month we have added the Glamourie Patterncard Collection to the website and we will be adding designs in to it over the next couple of months. We have started with the Lapwing Pullover, which is a delicate cropped and shaped design featuring a contrast  peplum with a felted appliqué detail and bell sleeves. The Lapwing is available  in your own choice of colours of Hebridean 2 Ply. You can see the Lapwing and Machair-coloured version here worn along with the Red Jacobite Rose Hat Set. The Damselfly Cardigan is an intricate and complex project which is challenging and fun to knit. It is available in three colourways and you can see it here in the Northern Blue colourway. A matching Damselfly Hat Set is also available, and you can find both of these designs here.

The Sandpiper Collar now joins the Lapwing Collar and Ruffled Raven Collar, adding more feathered designs to the collection. The Raven Cardigan can be made in both triple and single layered collar versions – again in your own choice of colours. This elegant design features a feathered collar and elaborate sleeve cuffs. You can find the triple collar version here, and the single collar version here.

Both Jade and myself have just finished our latest cardigan designs. The buttons are being sewn on, the styling is pressed and ready and hopefully the weather will  allow us to get out on a shoot at the beginning of May. If so, we will have a new patterncard design for you next month. The second cardigan will take a little longer as we have an intermediate level project class to make to go along with it, but I hope to be able to bring you that in the early autumn.

We will be back next month, hopefully with another photoshoot complete and a new patterncard design ready for you. We will also be continuing to add to the Glamourie Collection, and we are expecting that our 2025 Hebridean 3 Ply dyelots will be ready in June, so we have lots to share with you over the summer.
