Our yarns are spun, dyed, scoured, washed and skeined in Great Britain, using dyes which are in line with UK REACH safety standards and regulations. Occasionally mild colour bleeding can occur when washing textiles for the first time. Any exposed skin should be gently washed with soap and water.

The colour name and dyelot number of each shade of our Hebridean yarn can be found on the relevant yarn label in your kit, yarn pack or set of skeins.

Pure wool is naturally fire resistant, but should be kept away from fire sources and extreme heat and cold. Pure wool yarn is best stored at moderate temperatures and humidity levels. Yarn stored at high or low temperatures and high or low humidity may become brittle or water damaged.

Our yarns are designed for hand knitting, weaving, felting, crochet, embroidery and other needlework and craft purposes. They should not be used for other purposes or given to children.
