USA Delivery Information
Virtual Yarns is based in Scotland. We deliver to the USA using the Royal Mail PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) International Tracked service.
The US Government has imposed a tariff on packages entering the USA. Currently the rate for UK origin goods is 10%. We are using the Royal Mail PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) service so that you can prepay your 10% tariff on our checkout. You can see your total outlay in your basket before you buy. The 10% tariff is itemised and the handling of £1 per package has been added in to the shipping charge.
After your order has been processed we pass your tariff and handling payment on to our carrier Royal Mail, who will then pay it to US Customs when your package begins its transit journey.
Our digital only Creative Course 1, 2 & 3, the Infinite Cable Class and the Weaving Class and Weaving Design Plans are unaffected by this change as they are not physical products. These will not be subject to the tariff and there will be no change to the www.steek.scot website where these are purchased.
We send packages out between Monday and Friday, we do not post on Saturday. Our yarn is hand skeined and we custom make our kits and yarn packs to order. So if you order yarn, a kit or a yarn pack it will be picked, skeined and packed especially for you.
We aim to process orders within a 4 working day period.

Orders over £951 to a single address – Total Shipping £1010
This scale reflects the fact that larger orders weigh more and will go in separate boxes.
