Austria, Denmark, Germany & the Netherlands PDDP Delivery & Withdrawal Information
Due to new European Union EPR regulations we must temporarily suspend shipping to all European Union countries and Norway. We are in the process of setting up our EPR registration for France, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden and we will resume shipping to those countries as soon as registration completes. Virtual Yarns is based in Scotland. We deliver to the Austria, Denmark, Germany & the Netherlands using the Royal Mail International Tracked PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) service. With this service your VAT, customs and handling are all paid on our checkout. There will be no further charges when your package processes through customs in your own country.
We are using the Royal Mail PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) service so that you can prepay your VAT, customs and handling on our checkout. You can see your total outlay in your basket before you buy. Your VAT is itemised and the customs and handling have been added in to the shipping charge.
After your order has been processed we pass your VAT, customs and handling payment on to our carrier Royal Mail, who will then pay it to Customs in your own country when your package goes through its transit journey.
Customs, VAT and handling/duty charges are applied at a rate set by your own country.
Our digital only Creative Course 1, 2 & 3, the Infinite Cable Class and the Weaving Class and Weaving Design Plans are not subject to customs and there will be no change to the www.steek.scot website where these are purchased.
We send packages out between Monday and Friday, we do not post on Saturday. Our yarn is hand skeined and we custom make our kits and yarn packs to order. So if you order yarn, a kit or a yarn pack it will be picked, skeined and packed especially for you.
We aim to process orders within a 4 working day period.
Customer Withdrawal/Returns Form
Customers have a statutory right to cancel their order up to 14 CALENDAR DAYS after their order is delivered. Customers must inform Virtual Yarns Ltd using the form on this page of their intention to cancel. The customer then has a further 14 CALENDAR DAYS to return the order. For any digital product such as a Creative Course or Project Class the content must not be accessed or downloaded within the refund period. Once the content is accessed or downloaded the return period is waived.

Returned goods must be in unused condition. The amount paid for the goods and outward postage will be refunded upon receipt of the returned package. The customer is responsible for the cost of the return postage and we recommend that a tracked method is used.
Packages must be clearly marked RETURNED GOODS on the outside of the parcel.
