Story
The Cailleach design was an exercise in creating a pattern that would speak of the moorland landscape but at the same time be small in scale and therefore easy to memorise and knit. I felt my Cailleach character would appreciate this, as it would enable her to walk the moor and easily work her knitting at the same time. The style is a classic long-line cardigan and the end result aims to be beautiful, practical and flattering for all ages and shapes.
