This Greeta Full Set includes colour-printed pattern cards with full instructions in all sizes and all the Alice Starmore Hebridean™ 2 Ply yarn required to make the Greeta Hat Set and the Greeta Cardigan in your chosen size. The Greeta cardigan features the same yoke pattern on all sizes so on the larger sizes the yoke rounds will sit higher up on the shoulders whilst the body and upper sleeve shaping is extended and designed to fit each subsequent size. The Greeta Cardigan is an intermediate project which assumes you already have the required skills for working stranded knitting in the round with a steek. A focused video class for the cardigan takes you through the unique shaping of the upper body in preparation for fitting the circular yoke.
The Greeta Hat Set kit includes two colour-printed patterncards with full instructions for the beret and gloves, and all the Alice Starmore Hebridean™ 2 Ply yarn required to make the set.

Story
The Greeta river (Abhainn Ghrioda) begins its journey from a series of burns which run from the hills and lochs in the centre of the Lewis moorland. From there is wends its way through heather, lochs and hills until it reaches the Stornoway Castle Grounds where it races through beautiful woodland and out into the sheltered harbour bay. The journey from beginning to end holds a lifetime of treasured memories for me and so some depiction of it in textile form has been on my mind for some time. My thoughts for this design centred around the rich and changing late autumn landscape along its banks as it flows from subtle moorland into the woodland's dazzling autumn leaves.
