We are open to orders from the USA and have been sending with no issues since the 29th of August. Delivery times are the same as usual.

The US Government has imposed a tariff on packages entering the USA. Currently the rate for UK origin goods is 10%.

We are using the Royal Mail PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) service so that you can prepay your 10% tariff. You can see your total outlay in your basket before you buy. The 10% tariff is itemised and the handling of £1 per package has been added in to the total US shipping charge.

As your package is being sent via a PDDP method there will be no further charge from US customs or USPS when your package lands in the USA. 

After your order has been processed we pass your tariff and handling payment on to our carrier Royal Mail, who will then pay it to US Customs when your package begins its transit journey. This means that your package will go through Customs in the US without any further charges on landing from customs or USPS as you will already have paid the tariff at point of sale.

Our digital only Creative Course 1, 2 & 3, the Infinite Cable Class and the Weaving Class and Weaving Design Plans are unaffected by this change as they are not physical products. These will not be subject to the tariff and there will be no change to the www.steek.scot website where these are purchased.
